Services
Every family's needs are different, so care plans are built person by person — a few hours a week to daily support. These are the services we provide as a licensed Texas Personal Assistance Services agency.
Personal care
Respectful hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting — always at your loved one’s pace and preserving their dignity.
Meal preparation
Grocery planning, cooking meals that match dietary preferences and doctor’s guidance, and sharing the table so meals aren’t eaten alone.
Medication reminders
Friendly, reliable reminders to take medications on schedule. As a non-medical agency we don’t administer medication — we make sure it isn’t forgotten.
Mobility & transfer assistance
Steady support moving around the house, getting in and out of bed or chairs, and reducing fall risk on stairs and slick floors.
Light housekeeping
Laundry, dishes, changing linens, tidying living spaces — keeping the home safe, clean, and comfortable without disrupting how they like things.
Companionship
Conversation, games, walks, hobbies, and a consistent friendly face. Loneliness is a health risk; good company is part of good care.
Errands & transportation
Rides to appointments, pharmacy pick-ups, grocery runs, and church or social visits — so life doesn’t shrink when driving stops.
Respite for family caregivers
Scheduled relief so the family member who carries most of the load can rest, travel, or simply catch their breath, knowing care continues.
A note on what we don't do
Helen's Home Care is a non-medical agency. We don't provide skilled nursing, wound care, injections, or medication administration. If your loved one needs medical care at home, we're glad to point you toward licensed home health agencies — and our services often work alongside theirs.
